Installing Fittings

On suspended systems, FRC™ fittings should be installed in a similar method to the equivalent sized pipes.

Saddle junctions can be used in suspended FRC™ pipelines in lieu of standard junctions. They are jointed into a line by use of an epoxy adhesive.  Saddle junctions may be further secured with stainless steel strapping if required. The hole for the stub can be made by drilling a series of holes around the circumference of the opening required, knocking out the center section and rasping the hole smooth. Alternatively, a field trepanner or a power-cutting tool as described earlier can be used to make the holes.
