The latest update of PipeLoad™ design software incorporates some fantastic features to make pipe class selection even easier. The Windows based engineering software program is an ideal means of calculating the appropriate class (strength) of buried concrete pipes required under specified installation and loading conditions. This new version of PipeLoad™ software is in accordance with:

• AS4139 - 2003 'Fibre Reinforced Concrete Pipes and Fittings'
• AS4058 - 1992 'Precast Concrete Pipes'
• AS3725 - 1989 'Loads on Buried Concrete Pipes'

Features
PipeLoad™ offers extensive features to make operation truly user-friendly:

• Built-in calculations for most typical trench and pipe laying conditions
• Automatic calculations for construction loads as well as service and dead loads to prevent potential early failure of concrete pipes due to cracking during the construction/installation phase
• Distribution of construction loads down to 300mm above the crown of the pipe
• Automatic calculation of wheel loads for most construction heavy equipment
• Determination of pipe class for the working load calculated for each imposed load for FRC and SRC pipes
• An ability to alter parameters for optimization of installation and construction
• The full range of pipe sizes for FRC (225mm – 750mm) and SRC pipes (225mm – 4200mm).
