Did You Know?...
…that James Hardie are the only company to manufacture a collarless concrete rubber ring jointed pipe?
...that PVC saddle adaptors are a simple, effective way to connect PVC pipe to FRC™ pipe? So if you do need to change between pipe materials, just give us a call.
Discontinuation of Bitumen-Coated FRC Pipe James Hardie FRC Pipes would like to advise that we have discontinued the manufacture of bitumen-coated FRC™ pipe. This change does not affect our standard FRC™ pipe product offering.
Bitumen coating has been applied to standard FRC™ pipes for aesthetic purposes only, with no effect on the pipe performance. FRC™ pipes continue to be an ideal solution for suspended drainage applications, providing a high integrity jointing system, up to 4 hours fire rating, excellent acoustic benefits and great design versatility.
Uncoated FRC™ pipe used in suspended applications may discolour from moisture levels however a single coat of acrylic paint should overcome any visual concerns.
