FAQs
The use of fibre reinforced concrete pipes in stormwater drainage applications can generate significant savings for construction projects.

These savings are derived from the impressive features of FRC™ products, most notably the standard 4m pipe lengths which reduces the number of laying movements, the ease of handling due to the lightweight properties of fibre cement, and the ability to easily cut and customise the extensive range of pipes and fittings on-site.

FRC™ pipes are installed under the same conditions as steel reinforced concrete pipes. Consequently AS3725 'Loads on Buried Concrete Pipes' is appropriate for use for FRC™ pipes, for the determination of external service loads to which the pipe will be subjected. In addition, AS3725 classifies the type of pipe installation, type of bedding, the minimum requirements for the soil materials around the pipes, and the compaction of these materials.
