The FlexiPit™ system is the latest exciting addition to the James Hardie range.
True to its name, the FlexiPit™ system offers an impressive level of flexibility that has never been seen in pit systems before. With a wide variety of high performance componentry, the new pre-cast pit system offers some outstanding benefits for designers and installers alike:
- Impressive hydraulic performance gained from the internal circular design
- Significant construction load strength
- A wide range of pit 'tops' to suit project applications
- Improved accuracy for surface level to invert, when using FRC pipe risers
- Unique flexibility in pit placement; vertical alignment of pit body to pit top is not critical
The system combines three main units, each of which can be varied to suit individual project needs - a pit unit at the base, an FRC™ pipe riser to bring the unit to surface level, and a pre-cast concrete grated top to suit traffic and surface conditions. The use of FRC™ pipe risers, means that risers can be cut to length on site, which improves the accuracy of surface level to invert.
