The Sands, Torquay has introduced luxury club living to the seaside community of Torquay, located on Victoria’s stunning coastline. An 18-hole Stuart Appleby designed golf course, blends approximately 400 luxury residential lots over 195 hectares of land, to provide a real integrated golfing lifestyle community.

Draper’s Civil Contracting Pty Ltd were awarded the drainage contract for the Residential Estates and Golf Course. This state-of-the-art development includes approximately 25kms of drainage, using a combination of 150mm to 750mm diameter concrete pipes. Draper’s Civil Contracting chose FRC™ pipes for the majority of project drainage due to the longer 4m lengths, easier handling, and the superior finished quality of the pipes. The combination of these elements provided greater efficiency and increased the construction speed significantly.
